Colleen Gallagher has over 30 years of advisory consulting, financing and business development experience concentrated across the financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, telecom, technology and energy sectors. She has held senior staff and management positions at IBM, Comdisco, Gartner Consulting, Huron Consulting and EY prior to joining McKenna & Associates in her current senior advisor position. Ms. Gallagher has advised on and led a variety of business consulting engagements related to analysis of operating models, asset management, streamlining of business operations, alignment of IT and business strategy priorities, benchmarking and large deal negotiations. In addition, Ms. Gallagher has managed both domestic and global technical, sales and marketing teams.
Ms. Gallagher has been active in charities and civil rights initiatives based in Chicago focused on the protection and educational development of inner city children. Most notably, Ms. Gallagher was a member, Vice President and the first female President of the Springboard Foundation, a grant making foundation that disperses funds and nurtures board development, of grassroots non-profits providing afterschool programs, similar to private equity, angel funding concept.
Ms. Gallagher graduated with a B.A. degree from St. Norbert College where she played Volleyball. Ms. Gallagher has also completed executive courses at Wharton Business School, Finance Services, Northwestern University, Kellogg Executive Education Program and the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation. Ms. Gallagher splits her residence between New Buffalo, Michigan and Alexandria, Virginia with her husband Josh, stepdaughters Eva and Miriam, and English labs, Baron and Jade. She is an avid golfer and supporter of her husband’s US and international sporting clay endeavors.
