Ms. Hobert is an Associate with the firm and helps support day-to-day operations focused on client services, research and writing. Rachel is engrossed in all aspects of the firm including office management and supporting the internal McKenna team and external advisors.

Prior to joining McKenna and Associates, Ms. Hobert worked for Global Education Management Services in Dubai, teaching and implementing technological innovation at the KG1 level. She has also worked previously as a cultural liaison with Soccer Without Borders in Kampala, Uganda and in the futures pit of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for WH Trading LLC.

Ms. Hobert most recently extensively traveled solo over the course of eight months through 12 different countries in Asia by boat, airplane, bus, motorcycle and foot, seeking to understand the regions distinct customs, norms and cultures.

Ms. Hobert attended Wesleyan University where she graduated with a B.A. in International Relations concentrating on the Middle East; she carries extensive on-the-ground experience in the MENA and African region, having lived in Turkey, Oman, Uganda and the UAE. She served as captain for the Wesleyan Women’s Varsity Soccer team and earned All-Academic three consecutive years. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.
